It is your responsibility to ensure the cart you use, including any and all plugins, is kept secure, and patched up to date at all times, and you should ensure use of strong, long and complicated passwords, especially on the Carts administrator account.

You should not enable or install plugins that you do not need nor understand, plugins that are outdated, or have a reputation for being problematic.

The shopping cart we recommend is OpenCart, as a minimum, you should be running the latest stable release, as of this writing, that is version 3.0.3.6.
